Mold Release Agents

Mold release agents also called concrete release agents having low viscosity. They are formulated using non-hazardous raw materials. Containing ingredients exclusively designed to help the mould release from the mould chemically, mould release oil is classified as a chemical release agent. Mold release agents are mineral-based, containing no water or solvents.

Mold release oils can also be used on concrete surfaces. They play an important role for construction and manufacturing companies as they are specially formulated to reduce friction and provide a good dissolution. They also give a clean and fresh appearance to the surface of the products. They are highly preferred to use at very low temperatures.

Uses of Mold Release Agents

Concrete release agents are recommended for lining the inner surface of steel ingot moulds, ensuring excellent oxidation stability and thermal conductivity, giving smoothness on concrete surfaces, and facilitating ingots' release.

Mould release oil is specially formulated to use in the production process. In this process, oil performance is a powerful determinant of demolding; and as a construction equipments company our products must perform well in all weather conditions.

The oil's viscosity greatly depends on temperature, so great care must be taken to blend the mould oil so that one can use the product efficiently. Since our mould release oil prevents the concrete from sticking to the mold, it is very practical.

Features of Mold Release Agents

  • It is concentrated oil that is specialized for the high-pressure casting of magnesium and aluminum
  • It is not hazardous; it is toxic-free
  • It is highly effective due to its solid content.
  • It is resistant to hot and cold conditions,
  • It can be diluted with water before use.
  • It is odorless, non-toxic, and harmless.
  • It is compatible with chemical additives.
  • It allows concrete to settle in the mold and push away air bubbles in the concrete.
  • It can be applied to steel and wooden molds quite easily.
  • Its flash point is above 93.3 ° C.
  • It can still be sprayed under cold weather conditions up to -7 ° C.
  • It can be applied under extremely hot weather conditions up to 75 ° C.
  • It complies with environmental regulations.

Advantages of Mold Release Agent

  • It minimizes the possibility of rusting in moulds.
  • It helps the material come out brighter and at a better quality,
  • It minimizes deterioration on surfaces.
  • Mould oil provides a clean separation of molds from concrete quickly, easily, and smoothly.
  • It is stainless, allowing the molds to be cleaned easily after use.
  • It prevents the formation of voids on concrete surfaces.
  • Concrete release agent minimizes the possibility of defects on concrete surfaces.
  • It extends the life of molds.
  • It prevents concrete from adhering to moulds completely.
  • It is very economical. It also reduces labor significantly.
  • It prevents rusting of construction site materials like iron and nails.
  • It prevents metallic transfer on the tools.
  • It has high resistance against bacteria, too.
